How to Improve Photography Skills

What is Photography?
Dear readers Photography is the art of capturing emotions and observation with the eye of the camera. A photographer expresses his or her feeling & thoughts in his pictures. Just like any artist photographer can pleasure the viewers with his pictures.
To be a good photographer or snapper you have to be a keen observer and sensitive about the objects you are going to snap. Here is a short tutorial containing professional tips and tricks for capturing images.
Lesson #1
Among the most significant tools “Light” is the top most as it plays a vital role in photography. Below are some most important elements affected by light
1-  Image clarity
2-  Brightness
3-  Sharpness
4-  Focus

Remember: A good snapper always utilizes light and its direction while snapping.
Just to extend a little I would like to explain that white light is a combination of different lights as you can see in the picture that if a prism is placed in the way of a while light ray it diffracts or separates it into colors.

Similarly when rays of light pass through the lens it bends all rays and joins them on a point called focal point. Both digital and film cameras have a lens in front to capture rays emitted by object or more clearly light rays emitted by object.  Light rays enter through the lens to the film, or digital sensor; both of which are sensitive to light. So by moving lens right or left focal point is changed and in practical photography the focus of the object will be changed by moving lens.
Lesson#2 Role of the Lens
In practical photography role of the lens is very prominent but remember behind lens the operator of the camera must know how to use it. Lens perform basic three task
1-Focus the image
2-Controls the exposure to the image
3-Sharpens the image
So the first important thing is to focus the image so you could see it clearly through the camera lens. In older cameras manual focus option was available while in new digital camera auto focus functions has been introduced. In getting image clear through the lens a snapper also controls the light entered into the lens called the exposure. Exposure is controlled by changing the aperture size of the lens. Once the aperture size is changed according to requirements a sharp and clear image preview can be seen and snapped.
